It's coming up on a year since our last site update, and a lot has happened. Thankfully, the reason that our site got neglected for so long is that we have been really busy churning out some fantastic work. We welcomed Fred Bliss to the office as our web architect, and he and I have been busy putting the finishing touches on our beta eCommerce project, code named "Isotope". We hope to be rolling out the beta in a few months, which is designed to truly bridge the gap between CMS and eCommerce apps and make simple, effective online store management a reality. Stay tuned for more as we unveil bits and pieces...
Most importantly, Fred introduced us to the amazing world of TypoLight CMS, which we truly have embraced, both as designers and programmers. It allows us the freedom to develop truly powerful sites built on a very solid framework, and we're excited to show everyone what it can do. We've started up a TypoLight section on our site that we hope to fill with valuable screencasts, links, and information about TypoLight in the coming weeks. Yes, it's a little thin right now, but we're becoming enamored with the Mac screencapture app ScreenFlow, which makes recording these things easy, so the library should begin to grow fast!
Other highlights:
- Re-launch of both The Music Emporium and Zoar Outdoor's websites onto TypoLight
- Redesign and SEO work on PhillipsChocolate.com
- Redesign and launch of CarrollDesign.com onto TypoLight
- Launch of MAFCUCreditUnion.org
- Brochures for The Harold Grinspoon Foundation
- ID and Site Design for ReligiousGiftStore.com
- And much much more...
We've got a lot of stuff in the pipeline, but the highlight for 2009 is going to be Isotope, and making eCommerce easy. Stay tuned!
